The Dedicated Life

Romans 12:1 “I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.”

Each one of us has a God-given call upon our lives. We are called to represent His voice, His will, His purposes and His plan on the earth. That is why it is so vital that we present our bodies as a living sacrifice as unto the Lord. 

When we lay down our preconceived ideas, our own thoughts, and our own fears and give our whole life to the Lord, He is able to bring about His purpose through us. 

Nothing is more fulfilling, satisfying and rewarding than living our life for God. There will be times when following the Lord will cost us something, but the cost is nothing compared to the reward of following God’s plan. 

I encourage you today to take the time with the Lord and dedicate your body, your mind, your will and your preconceived ideas to Him and allow Him to work in your heart. He is faithful to put His desires into your heart and equip you with His grace to accomplish those desires. 

Never underestimate the impact of a dedicated life, for the fruit will follow them into eternity.
