The Seed of the Word of God

Mark 4:14 The sower goes out to sow. 

We know from the Word of God that the seed that Jesus is talking about in the parable of the sower is the Word of God. 

God's words are life; they bring healing, provision, and light to any situation. In order for the Word of God to produce in our lives, the condition of the soil (our hearts) needs to be open and ready to receive and believe His Words. 

2 Chronicles 16:9 says, “For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His.” 

God is seeking a heart who will believe and hold fast to His Word. That’s when the power of His Word can manifest, and He can show Himself strong in their life. 

Hebrews 4:12 says that “the Word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword.” 

The power in God’s Word is ready to bring life and overcome any trial we may go through in this life! Let’s be a church whose hearts are quick to believe God’s Word, confess God’s Word, and act on God’s Word. As we do, we know that He will see to it that we walk through every situation victoriously!
