Romans, The Righteousness of God Revealed Part 4: He Justified Us
Romans 4:3-5: "For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.”
The truth of the Gospel is life-changing! When we begin to understand the revelation of who we are in Christ, it changes everything. It changes how we talk, act, make decisions, think, relate to others, and, most importantly, connect with God.
For most people, their natural default is to judge themselves by their own works. People who tend to compare themselves with others tend to justify their actions based on their motives, meanwhile judging others based on their actions.
