First Principles of the Kingdom of God part 10: The Kingdom of God Restores what was Lost
John 10:10 "The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)."
God's will for us is always good! He knows how to make things turn around for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)
Colossians 1:15-18 “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.”
A kingdom is a place where a king has dominion and reigns. It’s where his will and purposes are done. The Kingdom of God is where God’s purposes and will are accomplished. Jesus prayed, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10). Jesus prayed that the Father’s purposes in heaven would be fulfilled on the earth. There are principles in which the Kingdom of God operates that we need to learn so we can function properly as sons and daughters of the Most High God.
