How Beautiful are your feet?
Romans 10:13-15
“for “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then are they to call on Him in whom they have not believed? How are they to believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher? But how are they to preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”
You are a sent one from God to this world. You are alive in this time, in this generation, in this nation, in this city and this community for a purpose.
There are people in your world right now that are looking for help, looking for answers, looking for something more and you are the one who has been sent by God to reach those people. So often we overthink what these opportunities and encounters are supposed to look and sound like and because of fear, we don’t act.
But the good news is that sharing the Gospel is simple. Our lifestyle, how we treat others, how we talk, how we do our work, and our attitudes all impact those around us.
When people see that we love others and bring joy and peace into the atmosphere, people will notice.
When people ask what you did over the weekend, you can tell them you went to church.
When we get a prompting in our hearts to go and talk to someone, it is simple to invite them to church or to our upcoming outreach event.
Don’t allow fear to hinder you from being bold and sharing your faith. Jesus promised us in Matthew 28 that He would be with us always! He gave that promise right after He told His disciples to go into all nations and make disciples.
God is with you as you step forward in faith and have that conversation. There is truly no greater joy than getting to be part of someone’s Salvation journey.
So this week, be bold and ask God to show you who you can talk to this week. Being a sent one, with beautiful feet with a message of salvation is the biggest honour God has commissioned us with.
Remember, we love you, and we are praying for you.
Blessings,
Chloe
