The Great Commission

Mark 16:15 "And He said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation."

It's astounding to think about the way God has planned our lives. We are not just some random act of chance, but we were already known by God before we were even in our mother's womb. (Psalm 139, Jeremiah 1:5)

God is the ultimate planner. He's the only One who knows the end from the beginning, and He knew He would need you and me to live in these last days, in this generation, in this city to impact those around us. So often, we belittle or don't value our gifts and the place God has put us because we're so used to it. However, when we begin to understand the importance of the call of God, we start to see the everyday opportunities that are around us to be a light, to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and to speak His words.

Right before Jesus ascended to heaven, He told His disciples to "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel."

This is still His command to His Church today. There is nothing more important than God's Kingdom, and everything we do for His Kingdom has eternal value. If we want to know what's on God's heart, look at the people around us and the church we're part of; that is His heart. His desire is for all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:4) People are on God's heart.

There are people in your life right now that God has called you to impact. It's not about shoving the Gospel in their faces; it's about following the Holy Spirit's leading and listening to who and how He wants us to share God's love with those around us.

I encourage you this week to ask God for open doors to share the Gospel to those around you and for the wisdom of how to share it, whether it be in a conversation or through actions or how we live our lives; let God work with you to be the light that He has called you to be.

Remember, we love you, and we are praying for you.

Blessings,

Chloe
