The Upside Down Kingdom

Ephesians 2:8-10 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."

The Kingdom of God is different to how this world operates.

This world operates through striving, earning, deserving, self-effort, labour and wages. But the way the Kingdom of God operates is by grace through faith.

The magnificent grace of God is hard to define using words. God's grace is the reason He sent His Son to die for us. His grace is the reason we are divinely provided for, healed, redeemed, holy, and made righteous.

We cannot do anything to deserve God's grace, but we must receive and respond to it.

The appropriate response to grace is our faith. When we believe in God's love, receive the gift of salvation, and act upon His promises, that is the appropriate response to grace.

Ephesians 2:10 says, " We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works."

Notice that the Scripture says, FOR good works and not BY good works. We've been Born Again by the incorruptible seed of the Word of God to produce the good works of the Kingdom of God.

God has a plan and a purpose for our lives. We didn't qualify ourselves; God qualified us, equipped us, and sent us by His grace to accomplish His good works on the earth. His grace empowers us to live abundantly fruitful lives!

Oh, how wonderful our God is!

Remember, we love you, and we are praying for you.

Blessings,

Chloe
