The Name of Jesus!

Acts 3:6-7”but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

We have been given the right to use the Name of Jesus! Jesus said that “All power and authority on heaven and earth has been given to me; therefore you go…” (Matthew 28:19)

When Jesus died on the cross, He took back the power and authority from the devil and delegated that authority to His Church. With that authority comes the right to use His Name over the domain of darkness. In Acts chapter 3, Peter and John used the Name of Jesus over sickness, and the man who once was paralysed began to walk because of the authority that is in the Name of Jesus!

You and I have the right to use the Name of Jesus in our own lives, too! Sickness, disease, poverty, lack, depression, anxiety, fear, worry, strife, anything that the devil tries to bring our way, we can use the Name of Jesus and remind the devil that he is a defeated foe and the victory that is in Jesus, is in us too! 

I encourage you this week to speak the Name of Jesus over anything that the devil is trying to bind you with! Jesus has been given the Name that is above every name, and everything must bow to Him!
