Delegated Authority

Philippians 2:9-11 “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Jesus has been given the Name that is above every name! His Name reigns in heaven, on earth and over the demonic realm. 

As children of God, we have the right to use His Name! That means when we speak God’s Word, He’s the one who backs up what we declare in the Name of Jesus. 

Jesus said in Mark 16:17-20 “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Jesus gave us His Name to use over the demonic realm and in our own lives to reinforce the victory that Jesus has already won for us! 

I encourage you this week to remember who lives in you! That you have the right to use the Name of Jesus over the enemy and in your own life. After all, Greater is He that is in you than he that is in this world. (1 John 4:4)
