Say So!

Mark 11:22-23 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

We have been made in the image of God, after His likeness and nature. (See Genesis chapters one and two).

As God's children, we can operate just like God does on the earth. Jesus told us to "Have faith in God." Another way of saying that is to have faith like God has faith, or have the God kind of faith.

We need to know how God has faith to obey what Jesus told us to do. When we know how God has faith based on how He created the world. He spoke, "Let be!" and light was. He spoke, and it was done. Romans 4:17 says, as it is written, "I have made you the father of many nations"—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist."

God calls things into existence. We can see how God works through the life of Jesus. When we look through the Gospel accounts, we can see how Jesus would speak to the sickness. When he went to the room where Jairus' daughter was, He didn't ask The Father to heal Jairus' daughter; instead, He spoke to her and said, "Little girl, I say to you, arise." Immediately the girl arose and walked, (Mark 5:41-42)

As children of God, we have been given authority and are carriers of His mighty power (Ephesians 1:17-23). This means we can speak to problems and situations according to the will of God and command them to come into line with what God has made available to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus.

I want to encourage you this week to speak TO the situation you are facing and command it to get in line with what you desire according to God's Word. Don't let go of what you believe; don't change what you have spoken, regardless of what the situation looks like. Remain strong and keep your heart fixed on the Word of God. God's Word is true, and it will accomplish what it was sent to do.

Remember, we love you, and we are praying for you.

Blessings,

Chloe
